Afternoon tea.food was fine, seemed strange eating in what felt like part of the kitchen. It's one thing being able to see what's happening but the down side is leaving smelling of chip fat.Also a bit unusual to upgrade to proseco, then to find have to pay extra for a cup if tea.
The Jennings Rooms really is a suprise from start to finish. Don't be put off by the village hall exterior, step inside & meet the friendly staff who are more than happy to show you the layout & share future dreams. Admire the chandeliers, sweet cart & bar, great for parties. Sit in the green space with a cool drink enjoy the calm knowing barbecues will be here one day soon. Look on the future events board but book quickly. Whatever you do, afternoon tea should be one thing not to miss, the freshly prepared selection of treats with or without prosecco is a must. Dietary needs can be discussed just call in plenty of time,i don't think anything could phase the smiley staff. I certainly plan to go again even if I only have time for a cuppa it's worth the visit
